Portraits of residents of a national charity for limbless serving and ex-service men and women
BLESMA is a national charity for limbless serving and ex service men and women and their dependants and widows.
I often pass the BLESMA home in Blackpool and I thought it’d be great to shoot a monochrome series of portraits of the residents to show my support. It’s important to be reminded of these people in our society and these images endeavour to celebrate who they are and what they represent.
These eight portraits were taken during my first visit and show some of the wonderful people I met that were kind enough to let me in with my camera.
