Médina of Marrakech
These photographs were all taken within the Médina of Marrakech over three days in December 2010. They capture moments on the street in a candid manner and explore the relationship between the people and the city.
Four months later, on the 28th April 2011, a bomb left in a bag destroyed the Argana cafe in Djemaa el-Fna square and killed sixteen people.
This photography series is dedicated to the people of Marrakech and those who lost their lives in this sad and tragic event.
